These walks where previously called Stepping Stones walks and are suitable for people who would like to try country walking for the first time. If you have been on a walking for health programme such as the Walking the way 2 Health project or the Walkabout Flintshire scheme then these walks could be the next step for you They consist of easier walks of Grades D or E of between three and five miles
Many people find that either as a means of improving fitness or returning to full health after illness, walking is the ideal solution. Walking can begin gradually and increase a little at a time as and when the individual feels able.
Easy Walks are taken at a moderate pace over generally easier routes.
Also-
The only things needed are stout shoes, a waterproof and time! Just turn up!
Easy walks are included in the main walks programme on the Walks Calendar page, but to make them easier to see are also shown below for the next period.
