These walks where previously called Stepping Stones walks and are suitable for people who would like to try country walking for the first time. If you have been on a walking for health programme such as the Walking the way 2 Health project or the Walkabout Flintshire scheme then these walks could be the next step for you They consist of easier walks of Grades D or E of between three and five miles

Many people find that either as a means of improving fitness or returning to full health after illness, walking is the ideal solution. Walking can begin gradually and increase a little at a time as and when the individual feels able.

Easy Walks are taken at a moderate pace over generally easier routes.

     Also-

• Usually take less than half a day of your time.
• Help you progress from very short easy walks.
• Gives you the chance to make new walking friends
• Often finish with an optional pub lunch!
• You do not need to be a member to start and there is no charge

The only things needed are stout shoes, a waterproof and time!
Just turn up!
